Problem-oriented and skill-based teaching are some of the emphasis of the Finnish curriculum. These can be implemented in practice, for example by practicing future skills with the help of educational escape games. The lecture presents escape game pedagogical theory, implementations and practices for teaching different grade levels.

The second part gives practical examples with a pilot game, how to implement the teaching method in action. In the workshop the participants are able to plan their own tasks and games with the help of expert to ensure a purposeful learning process.
